Stage: Rotenflue - Ibergeregg - Illgau | Schwyzer Tal- & Gipfeltour
After Holzegg comes Rotenflue, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Schwyz valley basin, Lake Lucerne, Lake Lauerz, and the pre-Alps. Along the way, you can admire the new Rotenfluebahn, and the associated Gipfelstubli restaurant invites you to take a break.
On well-maintained paths, the route continues over Müsliegg/Zwäcken to the Ibergeregg pass height. From there, it proceeds to Sternegg to Oberberg and then to the mountain station of the cable car Illgau - St. Karl.
From here, the route takes a small detour via Fallenflue down to Illgau. Take an extra 5 minutes to reach the Fallenflue Chänzeli, where you'll be rewarded with a wonderful view of the Schwyz valley basin.

To Holzegg
From Einsiedeln, drive towards Alpthal-Brunni until the end of the road.
To Illgau
From Schwyz, drive towards Muotathal. After Schlattli, turn left towards Illgau and you will reach Illgau within a few minutes.
