Wirzweli - Stanserhorn

The hike starts on the Stanserhorn and begins with the descent down the stairs and along the rocky eastern slope of the Chli Horn. A short detour to the Holzwang chapel on the Ächerlipass is worthwhile, from there you can enjoy a wonderful view towards Obwalden. Continue towards the Wirzwelibahn mountain station. The toboggan run makes children's hearts beat faster. Take the cable car from Wirzweli to Dallenwil. You can reach Dallenwil station by shuttle bus or after a short walk.
Alternatively, you can start the route in Dallenwil and walk in the opposite direction to the Stanserhorn.
