The alpine hike is an alpine hiking experience combined as a round trip by bus, train, and boat. This way, the heart of the Via Urschweiz can be experienced in just one day. The Via Urschweiz is a five-day panoramic cultural trail along historically valuable landscapes and traffic routes between Uri and Nidwalden.

Already the journey by boat to Isleten on Lake Uri is a highlight. The PostBus takes you to Isenthal, St. Jakob. The ride on the panoramic route offers breathtaking views of the mountain backdrop, the Urner Reuss Valley, and the Schwyz basin. The Gitschenen aerial cableway leads to the rustic high plateau, from where the 3-hour hike over Hinter Jochli leads to the Klewenalp. By aerial cableway, it continues to Beckenried and by boat back to the starting point.
