  • Start: St. Karl, mountain station
  • Destination: St. Karl, mountain station
The route begins on a natural sun terrace above the Muotatal. Peace and a lovely landscape await you. In this seclusion, the panorama appears even more majestic.

Before starting, enjoy a short ride with the small aerial cableway from the village of Illgau up to St. Karl. Once at the top, you can take a deep breath and open your senses for the power place St. Karl.

After a few steps, the village is already behind you, followed by a wonderful ascent through a quiet, untouched landscape. On the other side of the valley, on the Stoos, the piste fun is alive. On this side of the valley, nature lovers are among themselves. In the rear Oberberg, we reach the highest point of the route, and the magnificent Alpine panorama rewards the effort of the ascent. The gently downhill path leads to Alp Unterer Altberg and further to the cozy mountain inn Oberberg, where you can refresh yourself. It is only 700 meters to the mountain station of the Illgau–Vorderoberberg aerial cableway. With the nostalgically charming aerial cableway, you return again to the start in the village of Illgau.
