The route takes you along Lake Hallwil and Lake Baldegg and to three historic castles: To the landmark of the city of Lenzburg, the thousand-year-old namesake castle, where you can find the historical museum today. Then to Hallwyl Water Castle from the 12th century, which remained in the possession of the von Hallwyl family until the 20th century, and to Heidegg Castle, one of the most important country estates of the Lucerne patriciate. Lake Hallwil shines particularly beautifully, reminiscent of the Caribbean, at the Seerose Resort & Spa in Meisterschwanden. Enjoying a fine drink here, you experience pure holiday feeling. In contrast, the undeveloped shore of Lake Baldegg awaits you. The lake has been owned by Pro Natura since 1940 and is under nature protection.
