- Start: Beinwil am See, train station
- Destination: Lenzburg, train station
On the first part of the route, you cycle leisurely along Lake Hallwil and then continue through agricultural areas to Hitzkirch. Then calf and engine power are required, as it goes really uphill to reach the Seetal heart loop. Fortunately, Heidegg Castle is located on the route, where you can take a break in the 300-year-old castle garden. From the rose garden, you have a wonderful panoramic view of Lake Baldegg and the Central Swiss Alps. At Sulzer Kreuz, you join the Veloland route 599 towards Lenzburg.
Note:Â The first part of the route is not on a marked Veloland route. After the underpass at Beinwil am See station, follow the cantonal bike route towards Mosen. Near the shore, you cycle to the Mosen S-Bahn stop. Then continue towards the campsite. After 600 m, you will find the Veloland signposts and route 56 to Hitzkirch.
