Göscheneralp 5-Hut Panoramic Trail

This alpine loop hike connects five welcoming SAC huts that invite you to linger and delight visitors with their warm atmosphere and diverse offerings. The starting point for the tour is Göscheneralp, from where the huts in the surrounding valleys—including the Chelenalptal and the Voralptal—can be reached.

The route begins at the Göscheneralpsee dam and leads first to the Dammahütte at 2,439 meters above sea level. It then continues to the Chelenalphütte before heading to the Bergseehütte, the Voralphütte, and finally the Salbithütte. From there, the tour leads back to Göschenen.

Along the way, you’ll encounter an impressive mountain and glacier landscape with varied sections and spectacular views. Alpine experience, a full set of alpine gear, and a via ferrata set are recommended for this hike.
