Titlis Tower

Landmark of the Alps

By spring 2026, one of the main attractions of the TITLIS project will be completed: the TITLIS Tower. The steel structure, built by Swiss Post in the 1980s, is part of the unique character of this mountain peak. Herzog & de Meuron are now transforming this massive infrastructure into an iconic, cross-shaped structure by inserting two horizontal glazed steel sections, which will house, amongst other things, a restaurant, a bar and an exhibition space. Visitors can now reach the Titlis Tower by lift and from there proceed to the viewing terrace, which, at over 3,000 metres above sea level, offers an unrivalled view of the glacier and the mountain panorama.
